It all started in 2023 when our founders were trying to find a decent tech meetup in Lagos. After scrolling through countless WhatsApp groups, checking random Instagram pages, and asking friends for recommendations, they realized something was fundamentally broken.
Nigeria has some of the most vibrant events in the world — from colorful Owambes to innovative tech conferences, from Afrobeats concerts to business networking sessions. But discovering these events was unnecessarily difficult, and creating them was even harder.
That's when Zentro was born. We set out to create the platform that would make event discovery as easy as ordering food online, and event creation as simple as posting on social media.
Today, we're proud to serve thousands of event organizers and hundreds of thousands of attendees across Nigeria. From small community gatherings to massive festivals, Zentro has become the go-to platform for anyone looking to create or discover amazing experiences.
But we're just getting started. Our vision is to become the heartbeat of Nigerian social and cultural life — the first place anyone thinks of when they want to discover what's happening around them or share their own event with the world.
